What is Uberring?
Ubering is an easy and fun way to express your opinion about people and organizations around you by giving them badges. As you share your opinion, other users can give you badges and you can eventually become recognized within your communities of interest.
How does it work?
Sign in with your twitter account and then create your first Ubertag and have fun viewing other Ubertags.
What is an Ubertag?
To express your opinion in Ubering you can create an Ubertag. Ubertag is a post where you can enter the name of the person or organization that you want to give a badge to as well as the context or occasion of this badge.
How can I create an Ubertag?
It easy ...
1- Specify the occasion or the context of the Ubertag. It is recommended to choose any twitter #hashtag (e.g #Republican, #tlot, #sxsw)
2- Choose a person or an organization that you want to give a badge to. Again you can choose to give a badge to any #hashtag or someone you are following on twitter or Ubering
3- Choose one of our predefined badges that best describes your opinion
4- Write your comment
And that's it you have just Ubertagged. If you would like to add a link or mention others in your Ubertag you can easily do so.
What is a discussion?
While you are viewing Ubertags of other users, you can write your opinion about this Ubertag by adding a discussion. Other users can then read your discussions and give you badges.
What is a Retag?
You are viewing an Ubertag and want to second it or have a different opinion and want to express it. Use the Retag feature that enables you to give a badge to a person or an organization that is mentioned in an existing Ubertag. You can also use the retag feature to give badges on discussions that caught your attention.
How can I Retag?
Click on the Retag button that is placed on the top of the Ubertag page or above any discussion. Then choose one of our badges that best describes your opinion as well as specify who you want to Retag.
